If you saw my last studio, it was a beauty. But it was not meant to be mine as we moved right after its completion. Don’t worry, my husband is busy building me a new one in our basement. It’s going to be about the same size, with a built in counter/cupboard for my supplies (this came with house-perfect!), lots of natural light and bursting with inspirational artsy stuff!

In the meantime, I’m working out of my kitchen and I want to tell you that you have no excuses to not be creative, even if you have no space, that you can think of.

My paint collection and brushes are in the cupboards alongside the dishes and my easel is plopped by the window. My kids play outside and I holler at them through the window periodically!

Here’s my latest painting. She’s turning out a bit angelic. I think I’ve got ‘Angels in my Studio’ on my mind! I’m so excited to begin this e-course. Between this and my Creatively Fit Coaching certification with Whitney Ferre, I’ll be painting for almost 5 months straight. Eeeek!

Oh yes! I ordered Flora Bowley and Suzi Blu’s new books! They both look like so much fun!
