It’s Day 4. I’m definitely having leg cramps from the caffeine withdrawal and I broke down last nite before bed and took some Tylenol. I was having a hard time getting comfortable and didn’t see the point in suffering. I woke up still achy but thanks to the forum I know that I’m not the only one experiencing this symptom. That’s comforting. Mostly.
I started the day with more almond milk and kashi. My apologies if this isn’t completely gluten-free like the cleanse suggests. I just can’t seem to eat that clean…maybe for the next one.
For lunch I had lentil soup and corn chips with flax. Quick and easy!
It was just the kids and I for supper so they had ‘something that rhymes with blot hogs’ and I had a mixed salad with red onions, cranberries and toasted almonds. I’m really surprised at how little I am looking for treats and snacks when I’m making the conscious effort to eat 3 healthy meals each day. I feel really good (other than still cranky about the lack of caffeine in my system).
Halfway mark tomorrow. Yippee! I’m planning on making my own Sushi rolls and Eggplant Parmagiana for our meals this weekend so that’s keeping me motivated…’til tomorrow!
