We hit the beach today. Well, sorta. Emily is still in her cast (tucked neatly behind Daddy) so it didn’t seem fair that we go in the water when she wasn’t able to but we sure did have a great morning.
Only about 30 minutes away, Port Stanley, ON, has a beautiful beach that stretches for miles. We dipped our toes in Lake Erie, collected more feathers, rocks and shells than one would ever need (my kids are gatherers like their Mommy), drew Reiki symbols in the sand and just let the Sun shine down on us.
It was exactly the recharge that I needed.

With the impending launch of Where the Spirited Women Gather on Aug. 31st (see how I snuck that in there?) I have been working non-stop answering emails, inquiries about contributing, sponsor space and setting up the site, all while trying to finish up my Creatively Fit Coaching course and remembering to shower! But, you know what?
My Soul is so pleased with me right now.
It knows that I’m right where I should be. Gathering. Connecting. Grinning.
Looks like a wonderful day at the beach…and you’re good parents to stay out of the water since you couldn’t all partake. There will be other beach days next year for that.
